At the International College of Seville, we believe that cultural immersion is at the heart of a meaningful study abroad experience. To support our students in connecting with local life, we organize a wide variety of cultural and social activities designed to foster engagement with the community and create opportunities for authentic intercultural exchange.
The ICS connects interested students with local athletic clubs, where they can join local teams, stay active, and build friendships through sports. Students studying with the ICS also have the opportunity to participate in cooking classes where they learn to make traditional spanish dishes such as Paella and Spanish Omelette ‘Tortilla’. The ICS also offers students the chance to take dance classes with a local Spanish dance instructor to learn Flamenco and Sevillianas.
Check out some of the videos below to learn more about these immesive experiences offered to all ICS students.
In the evenings, ICS hosts cultural meet-up events that highlight the vibrant traditions and lively spirit of Seville. From flamenco performances that showcase the artistry of Andalusian culture to swing dance sessions, trivia nights, and open mic evenings, students enjoy fun and dynamic ways to interact with peers. Language exchanges also provide an informal setting for students to practice Spanish and meet local university students.
