Sending mail

There are many Post Office branches located throughout Seville. The largest and most important one can be found on Avda. de la Constitución, across the street from the Cathedral, while the branch closest to the ICS is on Avda. de la Raza.

From either of these or from any of the other numerous branches located throughout the city letters can be sent, and stamps and envelopes purchased.

Spanish stamps are classified as A, B, or C, depending on the region of the world your letter is being sent to. A is for mail within Spain.  B is for Europe.  C is for the rest of the world, including the U.S.
At the present time, the cost to send a regular-sized airmail letter or postcard to the United States is €1,45. To the U.S. mail generally takes between 5 and 7 days.

While stamped letters may be deposited at any yellow mailbox found on street corners and at intersections, large envelopes or packages must be sent directly from the Post Office.

MAILBOXES:

The ICS works with a Seville branch office of Mailboxes that sends letters, boxes and suitcases to the U.S through UPS and FedEx.  For any overnight or special delivery that you wish to make, a  Mailboxes representative comes expressly to the ICS to collect the item.
